Happy New Year everyone. I am please to announce that we have incorporated a number of new features into the Safety Training Network website over the festive period which should make using the site easier and allow you (the users) to have a voice in the future development of the website and it's features.
The New Features
1) Single Sign On - If you have accounts with other websites (Google, Facebook, MySpace, Yahoo, Aol, any OpenId provider) you can now login with those user details, meaning you no longer have to remember your Safety Training Network password. If you already have a Safety Training Network account the easiest way to link a 3rd Party login with your account is to to the the 'Single Sign On' page under the 'My Account' tab. Click on the link and away you go. If you are a new user to the site then login via your favourite account and away your go.
2) Site Feedback - Every page on the site now has a 'Feedback' tab on it. The feedback tab allows you to suggest new ideas, vote on existing ideas or report bugs in the website. This will allow us to listen to what our users really want and act accordingly. Safety Training Network Feedback forum
3) Staff Calendars can now be filtered between viewing 'Trainers Calendars' and 'Assessors Calendars'. This filter has also been applied to the Staff Calendar's availability request screen.
The Redesign
We have redesigned the layout for the users 'Skill Profiles'. We hope this makes it easier and clearer on how to create and manage a skill profile on the website.
The Bugs
The Portfolio Library has been optimised to greatly improve the screen's loading time
The 'Add Portfolio' save & close button now does actually close the page!
